Hardcore Art Contemporary Space presented an interesting selection of works… Taking shoes as his central theme, Carlos Pérez Vidal presented a small and delicate installation titled Twenty Seven Chosen and One Errant; it was in the shape of an altar, at which shoes represented the traces left by time and by civilizations.
With its conferences and debates… and the participation of museums and collections, this year’s Merrill Lynch Arteaméricas sought to integrate and enrich its possibilities, to provide a forum not only for showing Latin American art but also for discussing topics related to its development and its place in the context of contemporary art.

Hardcore Art Contemporary Space presentó un interesante conjunto de obras… Tomando también como tema central los zapatos, se presentó una pequeña y delicada instalación de Carlos Pérez Vidal, Twenty Seven Chosen and One Errant, una pieza en forma de altar, donde los zapatos representan la huella del tiempo y las civilizaciones.
Merrill Lynch Arteaméricas buscó, a través de las conferencias y debates… y de la participación de los museos y colecciones, integrar y enriquecer sus posibilidades propiciando un foro, que además de mostrar arte latinoamericano, debatió sobre temas inherentes a su desarrollo y lugar en el arte contemporáneo.
